"Condo Song" from the yet-to-be-premiered comic operetta, Casa Verdi [baritone, piano; 2008] In real life, Casa Verdi is set in a retirement home for members of the opera community and supported with the royalties from Giuseppe Verdi's estate. The operetta's fictional story also portrays fictional opera singers in a life & death situation. More numbers from the operetta will be coming online in the future.

The work is a fantasy on the American traditional song describing a tragic love triangle set in the Reconstructionist South. "Mehitabel's Song" [Flute (or oboe), voice, piano; 2024] A celebration for Cynthia Stokes' 90th Birthday Celebration and a setting of Don Marquis' poem of the same name. Mehitabel was a fictional alley cat character created in 1916 by Don Marquis along with her friend, Archy, a cockroach. They appeared hundreds of times in his daily column for the Evening Sun newspaper in New York City.
"Oh - Oh - Oh, Dad!" from A History of Evil: Bible Families [baritone solo, 2 male back-up singers, piano; 1989] A History of Evil: Bible Families is an evening-long comic oratorio based on Bible stories written in collaboration with Garrison Keillor. DOWNLOADABLE Whoever You Are (Entrance) [soprano, piano; 2003] Written in honor of the inauguration of poet Dana Gioia in his post as director of the National Endowment for the Arts. An invocation and encouragement to push one's envelope of comfort, the poet's title is Entrance.
DOWNLOADABLE The Year's at the Spring [soprano, oboe, cello; 2004] Robert Browning's exhilarating expression of joy set by Randall Davidson can be effectively performed with composer Amy Beach's setting of the same poem. The premiere took place with soprano Maria Jette at Plymouth Congregational Church in Minneapolis.
DOWNLOADABLE Tout par compas suy composé (transcription of composer Baude Cordier's (1380-1440) composition. Cordier (neé Baude Fresnel) was fond of using "red note" or mannered notation adjusting rhythms from their face values based on their coloration.
