A new work (2017) for treble instrument (oboe of flute of violin) and piano written as the result of a one-hour composing assignment from my son, Benjamin. Neither one of us were writing much music at the time and he challenged me to spend one hour writing a 32-measure piece. This is the result of that effort. It's slow, like Norwegian pines swaying slowly at the end of Peninsula Drive on Eagle's Nest Lake #2.
