We Three Kings (for harp and treble instrument)
This arrangement tells the story of the three Kings without a word being sung. The harp and treble instrument portray the distant caravan arriving and each King reveals his epiphany in a distinctive music of their own. Then all three Kings join in the refrain. At the end, the caravan moves into the distance continuing their chorus.
The treble instrument can be anything but would best be played by a flute, piccolo, zither, bowed psaltery, Hardanger fiddle, oboe, or violin (non vibrato) -- anything with a nasal or "other worldly" sound. Find the audio file here.
